Essential Question for the Course: How can I use 21st century technology tools to meet technology standards, enhance student learning, and improve achievement outcomes?
Learning Targets: Students will successfully build and maintain their own professional wiki page. This page can serve as a digital resume and will house course work from Wordle, Tagxedo, ToonDoo, Smore, Voki, Glogster, Animoto, Youtube, Podomatic, and other cloud-based web 2.0 tools. Students will participate in a semester long book blog group and will also collaborate with a Web 2.0 group in presenting tools to the class that have not been used during the semester. Students will also learn to embed digital content and build a cloud based presentation.
Success Criteria: Students will complete all required assignments and have their work embedded and uploaded onto their professional wikipage in an organized and visually pleasing way. Students will collaborate and participate fully with their book blog and Web 2.0 groups. Students will present their work to their peers for feedback throughout the semester. Students will miss no more than 2 face-to-face classes.
